New Membership

ATTENTION CURRENT MSU JUNIORS: The Senior Class Council is currently in the process of recruiting new members for the 2008-2009 academic year! To give you a little more information about our council, we are a group of graduating seniors who organize events such as Homecoming, Career Development Seminars, and various philanthropies. We also raise money for the Class Gift, give Outstanding Senior Awards, and help choose Commencement speakers. In order to apply, you must be first year or returning graduating senior for the 2008-2009 school year, with a minimum GPA of a 3.0. You must be able to attend all required dates stated on the attached application and also submit one letter of recommendation from any person you choose. All applications and letters of recommendation are due no later than 5:00 pm Wednesday, March 12th. An application is attached to this email but can also be picked up in room 101 of the Student Services Building. You can also access the application electronically at: www.scc.msu.edu. The purpose of this committee is ensure the continuity of the council. They organize the selection of a new council through an application and interview process in March. The chairpersons of this committee also help provide a smooth transition from the current council to the new one.

New Membership is also involved in planning social events and retreats for the council.
